Guide Values for Horticultural Raised Bog Peat Based on European Standards

Often peat experts have tried to set up guide values or specifications for horticultural peat. This has been achieved in some countries on the basis of national standards, but not on an European basis. However, existing European Standards (ENs) open the door for harmonized specifications for horticultural peat and not just on a national basis. So far, this hasn't been achieved, but the guide values now drafted by the IPS Horticultural Peat Working Group (HOPE WG) could be a start.
