When it was launched in 1990, the Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4×4 was billed as more of an executive express than the touring-car-bred hell raiser of its three-door predecessor. Since then, of course, this Performance Ford icon has been modified every conceivable way, from mild to wild - and some of them couldn't be further from the 'businessman's baby' Ford wanted it to be at its launch, as last month's cover car proves. Anders Christiansen's car is all-out, hardcore and totally extreme. But this month we're taking a look at a modified Saff which sits at the other end of the scale, and coincidentally, far closer to Ford's original remit.
