Well it's that time of the month again. Not too much to report at the moment as the car has been away for some product development work, but more on this in the next couple of months once it's all finished. Before the car was taken off me, I managed to get my Mountune MP215 handset installed onto the car. The handset is a great little unit and very easy to use and follow. It didn't take long to upload the new file onto the car at all. Once I'd finished uploading it, I took the car up the road for a spin to see if I could notice the difference. The first impressions were good, the car seemed more responsive and progressive over the standard file on the car which to me felt like it was a bit on or off. The more I've driven it, the more I've grown to like it. The boys at Jam-Sport stuck it on the dyno for me so we could see what difference it made. With the mods I currently have on the car, which is the Cobra System, GGR Induction Kit and JS Performance intake hose, the power with the std map was 198bhp with the MT215 Map we saw 221 bhp and 267lbft of torque, so I was very impressed with the gains and it was certainly worthwhile doing. Being a Mountune product, it is also Ford approved, which is even better.
