After a recent surge of activity it's actually been - a bit of a slow month for the Mk1, although as you can see from the pictures the engine is now looking very nice indeed. My previous photos hadn't really done it justice so here's a chance to see it properly in all its glory. These pics also do a better job of revealing the ignition leads that I got from Matt Lewis Motorsport (mattlewismotorsport.co.uk) which are part of the off-the-shelf wasted spark kits that it offers for both 2WD and 4WD Cosworth YBs. As well as being just the thing needed in order to run the coil pack and ECU setup, they also happen to be a near perfect colour match for the Olympic blue paint which is something of a bonus.
