BackgroundThe role of prone position in preterm infants has not been completely clarified. We investigated prone versus supine posture-related changes in respiratory system resistance (Rrs) and reactance (Xrs) measured by the Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT) in mechanically ventilated preterm newborns.
