Novel H1N1 influenza pneumonia in neonate.

I read the recent publication on novel H IN 1 pneumonia in a neonate with a great interest. Sert et al. suggested that this is the first report on this condition. Of interest, the very low prevalence of neonate infection by the novel H1N1 influenza still requires further clarification for the reason. In a recent report from India, severely ill neonates are identified for several respiratory viruses but there was no novel H1N1 influenza infection. The very prevalence might be due to lack of concern or exact very low infection rate among the neonate. "What is the exact reason for these observations?" needs further studies to clarify the myth.
