Strong international demand for steel castings led the Bonds foundry group to develop a modern, purpose-built foundry on a 10-acre site. New, state-of-the-art equipment- including a blast machine - was required by Bonds CastTech. In addition, the long-established foundry in the group, Bonds Foundry, was in need of a larger blast machine with greater capacity at its North Road facility.
