WHAT CAN YOU DO WHEN AN AIRPORT'S CAPACITY BECOMES INSUFFICIENT FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME DUE TO A MAJOR EVENT? International air travellers are familiar with the situation: the aircraft has barely landed and the first thing they encounter are incredibly long lines that make for a negative first impression. The probability of this happening is all the greater when a large event is taking place and the destination airport does not have the capacity to handle the influx of visitors. Seemingly endless lines of people at check-in also count among the less than pleasant aspects of air travel in peak periods.
