Airport sense is common sense applied to the airport environment. Many other environments in the real world define similar concepts such as road sense, financial sense and aircraft sense (airmanship). If someone has that sense, resident within that individual is an intangible set of knowledge elements and a predisposition to thought and action that is appropriate and right for that environment.
