Birmingham based Frost Electroplating,which supplies the automotive,electrical,electronic and general engineering industries,has recently invested over pound750,000 in the development of two new reel-to-reel plating lines.The new lines incorporate what the company describes as "ground-breaking innovations"and can handle double the previous coil weights and work at much faster speeds than before-typically,up to five times faster.They employ "new generation chemistry"which improves the plating rate and achieves much better precious metal control.Water loss is also kept to a minimum,making the lines are more environmentally friendly.
