Corrosion and incrustation of pipelines lead to high economic losses.The immense dimensions of water drainage in the opencast mines of LAUBAG 9require careful planning and maintenance both interms of thewater volume to be withdrawn and the dimensions for pumps,valves,and pipelines so that the economic expenditures can be kept on a minimum level.
