Blown or cast film extrusion,printing and coating/laminating applications occasionally require manufactured substrates that are extremely thin,textured,or are heat sensitive.When faced with substrates of this nature,it may be necessary to investigate the operational performance characteristics of the Pillar Technologies"universal"style dual-dielectric surface treatment equipment.The"soft"corona seen and applied when using either ceramic or glass as the ground roll dielectric,together with the ceramic electrodes,will allow sensitive substrates to be treated without pin holing or wrinkling that can be caused due to high heat or excessive streamers.
