Inveresk's speciality mills turn in a 1st Half year profit

Inveresk has achieved a profit of pound2 million in the 1st Half of 2003, after several years of debilitating loss and disrupting reorganisation. Sales increased by 6% to pound21.9 million as the two mills - Carrongrove and St Cuthberts - settled into a specific niche "of providing specialty papers to a wide cross section of international customers."
