Patent-pending technology will maximise filler content

Patent-pending technology which will enable mills to maximize the filler content in virgin fibre grades is to be developed by Paprican and BASF - following extensive pilot trials and a commercial mill trial.The four-year joint project will fully commercialize the technology,which is expected to have significant economic benefits by enabling mills to:reduce production costs maximize fibre usage and enhance end-product performance - there will be no negative impacts on production and print quality of paper.
