Sharp fall in Q1 Chinese pulp imports

Chinese imports of pulp jumped by 36.6% (+398,970 tonnes) to 1.49 million tonnes in March when compared to the previous month. The spike is due to the Chinese new year holidays having been in February this year reducing the amount of shipping days as a result.
