Cristini Diagnostic Systems announces world's first portable felt moisture & permeability meter

PermFlowDUO~(TM) is the world's first instrument that integrates in the same unit a sophisticated microwave meter, a water permeability meter, and a temperature sensor. Monitoring the press section clothing is essential to ensure that the paper machine runs at the best efficiency and quality, with the lowest emissions. Until now, the only way to monitor the moisture & water permeability in press fabrics was by using two separate instruments. This required the operator to access the paper machine positions twice (impacting safety), taking twice the time for scanning, and reduced the reliability of the measurements since the scans of moisture & water permeability were not conducted in the same position at the same time.
