Following the two previous articles on leaders today, (Paper Technology April 2011, October 2011), this third article develops the impacts of business and social change on leadership for the future.Christine Lagarde, the well-respected chief of the International Monetary Fund, said in December 2011, "the world's nations need to work together to avoid a 1930s style depression. But seeing the way they are working and where they seem to be headed, we'd prefer a depression. We need to act as collectively as possible. Europe's leaders have to get the job done - together".
