Pira conference: fillers and pigments for papermaking

Pira is to hold the 4th International Conference on Fillers & Pigments for Papermaking at the Barcelo Hotel Sants, in Barcelona, Spain from 20 to 21 May 2003. Fillers and pigments are playing an ever increasing role in competitive papermaking, since they enable mills to enhance optical properties of paper, surface smoothness and printability without the need for a considerable financial outlay.
