CPI calls for recycling capacity to match recovery rates

In 2008, the UK recovered 8.8 million tonnes of paper from the waste stream, according to the Cofederation of Paper Industry. Of this 45% or 3.99 million tonnes was recycled in the UK while 4.85 million tonnes was exported.
