Maximising Tissue Machine Performance Through State-of-the-art Chemistry Solutions

The efficient operation of a tissue machine is determined by a number of factors including mechanical optimisation, chemical strategies and the papermakers' art.This paper identifies those factors limiting machine output that can be improved by adopting an appropriate chemical strategy. Whilst this paper examines a number of factors ranging from furnish treatment and broke repulping to water system cleanliness, the main focus is on fabric performance and Yankee cylinder operation.
