The price of TiO_2 is rising relentlessly,having increased by more than euro400 a tonne since the beginning of 2005.The driving forces are tight supply and the continuous increase in costs - raw material,energy and transport.There is no sign of a respite.Supply has become even tighter as a result of hurricane damage in the Gulf of Mexico and the cost of energy and raw materials is likely to continue to climb over the next decade.
