摘要

To minimise the accumulation of solids in its aerated lagoon,the Maryvale Millof Austalian Paper is increasing the overall water velocity.The latter is acieved by using the optimum combination of aerators and mixers to control the efficiency of the mixing process.This new approach follows a study which used computational fluid dynamics to calculate the water velocities throughout the lagoon-under different combinationsof aerators and mixers.
