摘要

A new chelating ligand, (N-oxide pyridinyl-2-aldehyde)-3,5-diben-zyloxybenzoylhydrazone (HL) and five transition metal complexes, ML(OAc) [M = Cu(II), Zn(II)] and ML(OAc)(H_2O) [M = Co(II), Ni(II), Mn(II)], have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, molar conductivity, thermal analyses, IR and ~1H NMR spectra. A structure of the prepared complexes is suggested. The antibacterial activities of the prepared compounds have been evaluated.
