Merchant sales down again but it’s not all doom and gloom

Total sales made by UK paper merchants continued to run below year ago levels during February. The latest monthly decrease of 3.3% ensured that contraction continued to be recorded on a year-to-date and annualised basis with respective declines of 3.1% and 8.4%.
