The price of a paper PRN rose to pound11 in January,higher than at any time last year which saw a high pound10,a low of pound5 and an average of pound8,figure 1.The driving force seems to be the increased recycling targets for specific materials which kicked in during 2004 .The recycling target for paper packaging is now up to 65%,and is set to rise to 70% over the next three years,figure 2.
