摘要

The reaction among copper(II) acetate with ammonium thiocyanate and the similar tridentate Schiff bases 2-[(2-ethylaminoethylimino)methyl] phenol (HL1) and 2,4-dichloro-6-[(2-methylaminoethylimino)methyl]phenol (HL2) produces two end-on thiocyanato-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu-2(L1)(2)(NCS)(2)] (1), and [Cu-2(L2)(2)(NCS)(2)] (2). Each copper atom in the complexes is in a square pyramidal coordination. The Cu center dot center dot center dot Cu distances are 3.217(2) and 3.317(2) angstrom in (1), and 3.270(2) angstrom in (2), respectively.
