摘要

A few di- and triorganotin(IV) derivatives of the Schiff base (H_2L) derived from salicylaldehyde and thiosemicarbazide have been synthesised by the reaction of the corresponding di- and triorganotin(IV) chlorides with the sodium salt of salicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone in the desired molar ratios. These derivatives have been characterised by elemental analyses, molecular weights, conductivity measurements, IR and NMR (~1H, ~(13)C and ~(119)Sn) spectral studies.
