ITOCHU Chemicals America Raises Price of TI02 Products

North America's largest producer of anatase titanium dioxide slurry,ITOCHU Chemicals America Inc.(ICAI),said that its #2 titanium dioxide plant in Baltimore,MD is operating at one third capacity due to a recent breakdown of its bulk loading system.For the remainder of 2005,ICAI said it is not accepting any new or additional sales volume.The company expects repairs and additional upgrades to the #2 plant could take four months.
