Ilim Group's Koryazhma Mill Boosts Production Jan.-Sept. by 3%

Russia's Ilim Group said that this year from January to September 2012 its Koryazhma IVlill (Arkhangelsk Oblast) manufactured 826,000 tons of pulp and paper products - a 3 percent increase over the same period in 2011. This includes 288,000 tons of market pulp, which is an 8% increase against the first three quarters of 2011. Market containerboard output remained flat at 359,000 tons, Ilim said. Paper output increased by 5%, reaching 179,000 tons in the first nine months of 2012. This includes 66,000 tons of sack paper, 83,000 tons of offset paper, and 30,000 tons of paper for wallpaper manufacturing purposes.
