Arvind sets up Technical Textile joint venture with OG Corp of Japan

ARVIND Ltd. of Ahmedabad has set up a joint venture with Japanese major, OG Corporation of Japan, in the joint venture to be called-Arvind OG Non-Woven Pvt. Ltd. Arvind has 74% stake, while the rest 26% will be held by OG Corporation. The jv recently inaugurated a manufacturing facility at Dholka near Ahemedabad. The jv. will manufacture high quality non-woven fabric using needle-punch technology for bag house filtration, Artificial leather and a variety of other applications such as decorative felt and car interiors among others.
