摘要

The mixed-ligand complexes of Mn(II), Fe(II),Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) with 2,2'-bipyridylamine andsalicylaldehyde or 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde were prepared andcharacterized on the basis of elemental analyses, magneticmeasurements, infrared spectra, electronic spectra andthermogravimetric analyses. The antimicrobial activities of thecomplexes were tested against bacteria. An octahedral geometryhas been assigned to all the prepared complexes.
