摘要

Papaverine (Hpap) was directly cycloaurated withsodium tetrachloroaurate (III) and palladium (II) acetate to give[AuCl2(pap)] and [Pd(NO2)(pap)(CH3CN)], respectively. Thesecomplexes were characterized spectroscopically. The deprotonatedligand, pap, is coordinated through the N atom of the isoquinolinering and the ortho-C atom of the phenyl ring to form a six-membered metallaazaheterocycle.
