Coated Mechanical Papers Capacity Rose in 2004

The Pulp and Paper Products Council(PPPC)said that coated mechanical capacity in North America grew by over 310,000 tonnes in 2004,or 5.7%,compared to 2003 results.Almost two-thirds of the increase was due to higher capacity in Canada,virtually all attributed to the ramp-up of Kruger's new machine at Wayagamack.
