Not caring about car parks can prove very costly: The BPA's Great Big Parking Debate put Life Care Plans on the agenda

The owners and operators of car parks have to meet various obligations, many of which are Health & Safety related. Put simply, they need to ensure that they are operating a safe structure and that no undue risk is presented to those using their facilities. So, how do car park owners and operators ensure they are complying with these legal obligations? The answer is to implement a Life Care Plan. This is a systematic approach to inspection and maintenance which involves regular checks on the status of a structure, reporting of potential problems and a planned approach to repairs overseen by qualified engineers.
