Re-write those urban legends - Highways and parking enforcement managers need to start selling a new script for their operations

Parking and highways enforcement regimes need to work harder to ensure that there is more consistency across boundaries while also recognising particular local needs and trends. These were key themes that emerged during the Transport for London (TfL) Enforcement Taskforce event, held in London on 26 June. Overall the seminar was refreshing for its approach, with rather less of the standard feed provided at such occasions. It managed to balance conflicting views effectively, with the questions and debates being pertinent to practical and strategic issues.
