Centre of excellence for salt to be set up

BY the end of the year, the country will have its first centre of excellence on salt that is expected to act as a catalyst in achieving the production target of 38 million tonnes by 2020, according to Mr P. N. Rao, Vice-President, Indian Salt Manufacturers' Association.
