Alan & Alan The myth busters: The dynamic duo behind Marston Group's training workshops believe the venture has helped enlighten those who work with the debt recovery sector

A double act with a difference is touring the country, challenging perceptions about the debt recovery process and candidly addressing a range of sensitive issues. Alan Clark and Alan Wood, from the civil enforcement agency Marston Group, have embarked on a mission to dispel the myths surrounding the sector. So far the pair have held 31 workshops for over 300 delegates, including parking managers and back office staff, civil enforcement officers and their supervisors, revenues and benefits staff, the police service, and debt advice groups such as the Citizens Advice Bureau. They plan to continue the programme for the foreseeable future including a session for councillors, which will be the first of its kind. Marston Group's workshops received a commendation at the British Parking Awards 2010.
