Approved Operator Scheme's new board has wide reach

British Parking Association, DVLA, operators, landowners and consumer groups all represented. The British Parking Association has made significant changes to the Approved Operator Scheme (AOS), which seeks to encourage greater fairness in the operation of unregulated parking on private land. The scheme is supported by a code of practice with which members have to comply - and this has been revised. Meanwhile a new board drawn from a wide range of groups has been created to oversee the AOS's operation, and two loopholes have been sealed.
