Petrochemical sector grows at 6.5 per cent

FOLLOWING the volatility in the crude oil prices and the global economic slowdown, the petrochemical sector has recorded 6.5 per cent growth rate in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan so far, compared with the government's growth target of 12 per cent during the Plan period (2007-12).
