The RingGo system can be found being used both on-street and in car parks. RingGo's commercial director Harry Clarke believes phone parking appeals to the public because it ends the need for drivers to worry about having the right change, and to operators because it reduces their dependency on mechanical pay-stations and cuts cash collection charges. The system also enables ideas such as e-permits and 'carbon metering' to be implemented.
