With the media seemingly intent on portraying the parking sector in a negative light, public relations is being increasingly relied on to change perceptions and redress the balance. Hospital parking charges are a regular feature in the newspapers, as are airport parking charges, penalty charge notices and now bailiff services, all of which are given an almost entirely bad press - or at best a controversial one.
