Precast concrete paving association makes case for manufactured slabs and paving: Precast paving increases disabled access, says Interpave

Now that Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) has come into effect, the owners and operators of public buildings must take reasonable steps to ensure their premises are accessible to all members of the public. This means that car parking and access areas, such as ramps, have to be accessible. Interpave, the association for precast kerb and paving companies, believes the systems developed and manufactured by its members are ideally suited to meeting accessibility needs.
