'Double tickets' could offer shoppers discounted parking

A North Wales council is to give local businesses the ability to offer drivers discounted parking via the issuing of 'double tickets' at its pay & display machines. Flintshire County Council has been evaluating its pay & display parking policy, which was introduced in 2015. The payment terminals will remain in its car parks but, as a result of feedback, a number of changes are being considered.
