Aditya Birla Group plans $1-billion investment in US

THE shale gas boom in the US has attracted one more Indian company, Aditya Birla Group, which is reportedly planning to invest $1 billion (about Rs 6,000 crore) for setting up a chemical/fertiliser plant. Already, Indian companies such as Reliance Industries, Gail India, etc have either acquired announced mega investment in shale assets in the US.
