University of Leeds Alumni Event in Washington DC From Mumbai to Washington DC via Leeds with love

NORTH American Foundation for the University of Leeds (NAFUL) conducted a reception for US based Leeds Alumni on the Pescatore boat on the Potomac river 20th May 2013 in Washington DC from 6.30-8 p.m. University staff, over 25 Alumni (by year of graduation from 1967-2012), members of the Board from NAFUL attended the reception with members of the Alumni and Development team. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Arthur who travelled from U.K had pleasure meeting Alumni. Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof Dawn Freshwater (Staff and Organisation Effectiveness) and Prof David Hogg (Research and Innovation) and Roger Gair (University Secretary),Jayne Glennon (Deputy Director of Development and Marcus Green (Development Manager) graced the occasion by their presence. Alumni Brent and Nocola Lightner generously hosted the gathering on their boat moored on the Georgetown Waterfront.
