CHECK LIST OF NEMATODES OF MARINE FISHES OF PAKISTAN

The check list is prepared to make a comprehensive list of nematodes of marine fishes of Pakistan. The publication of which, is widely scattered in various local and foreign journals and is usually out of reach of research workers and students. All the publications are also not available on internet. This list includes nematodes belonging to 7 families, 9 sub families, 23 genera and 71 species reported so far from marine fishes of Pakistan. Nematodes are the round worms; inhabit marine, fresh water and terrestrial environment. These also include parasites of plants and animals. Four out of every five multi-cellular animal on the planet are nematodes.
