Polymeric Scaffolds

摘要

Polymeric scaffolds can serve as innovative systems for the investigation of tumor biology by offering unique tools to recreate important 3D microenviron-mental conditions that affect cancer cell behavior in vivo [1]. Because tumor cells behave in a more pathologically-relevant manner in polymer-based culture models, these systems could be invaluable in gaining a better understanding of tumorigenesis, metastasis, and drug response to ultimately advance current anti-cancer therapies.
