摘要

A new recycling process of automobile shredder residue (ASR), the "Thermo-bath" process, has been developed by using a coal tar based oil. ASR is separated to floats (plastics) and sediments (metals, glass and sand) by the specific gravity difference. Separated plastics can be recycled as reducing agent by injecting into blast furnace. The recovered metals can be used in steelmaking process. Total recycling rate of ELV (end-of-life vehicles) reached to 96% by this new recycling process combined with ironmaking process.
