There was a casual note in Wesley Loy's Alaska fishing blog that caught our attention: Chinook selling for 10 dollar a pound at the dock in Sitka. So we called a guy who should know — Eric Jordan, a longtime Sitka troller. Turns out it's a good story, all right, but the story is about the old law of supply and demand. Jordan's been fighting throat cancer since October, so he hasn't been fishing. He's keeping an eye on the fleet, though — literally. He can see the grounds from his house.
