Our American Fisheries Management Councils are just as screwed up as our Congress. Good hearts and strong backs are controlled by greedy heads, dizzy from the fumes of corporate jet fuel. American politics have grown into a beast that wolfs down moneylike Jabba the Hutt eats pizza. No one can get elected now without millions of dollars on hand to spray lies all over your opponent and to hose the lies off of yourself. Just try to run for office armed with nothing but ideas about issues. Your opponent will simply put out TV ads calling you an Albanian Satanist who fathered a half-codfish child out of wedlock.
